E.M.A. Sevil-Author
E.M.A. Sevil is a writer, dog lover, and owner of two mischievous, stinky and loveable Frenchies. She often wonders what they’d get up to given half a chance. She grew up in Sydney but has travelled to many parts of the globe and has spent much time in Paris trawling the streets to write this tale. She loves a great story and grew up smuggling books into her room each night begging her mother to stay up late reading, even for an extra hour. She hopes this adventure invokes the same wonder about what pets get up to when their owners aren’t looking for kids and adults alike.
When she’s not writing, she works as an occupational therapist with children with sensory processing challenges and helps them to overcome the seemingly impossible in their lives.
Saxon Dwyer-Illustrator
Born and raised in New South Wales’ Central Coast, 22 year old Saxon Dwyer has had a strong affinity for sketching and illustration for as long as he can remember, gathering artistic inspiration from his grandmother’s paintings as well as popular cartoons of his childhood. Saxon would develop his creative practices while completing a High School Visual Arts Major Work. Cartoon-styled freehand line drawings stands out as his dominant style which would work perfectly with his first formal project; ‘The Adventures of Oscar Le Pooch and Claude de Bono’. Working closely with author E.M.A Sevil to create designs capturing her colourful story and world, this marks new ground for Saxon’s artistic journey as well as the birth of some new beloved characters.
